This unique course aims to provide students with an understanding of the rich heritage and contemporary developments in the field of Indian fashion. Throughout the course, students will delve into the history and evolution of traditional Indian textile processes and designs, as well as explore the integration of these traditions into modern fashion trends. Additionally, students will gain practical skills in sketching, drafting, and creating fashion illustrations inspired by Indian motifs and aesthetics. The course is designed to cater to both aspiring fashion designers and anyone interested in understanding and appreciating Indian cultural heritage and contemporary fashion trends. Week 8-9-10: South Indian Fashion Styles

  • Examining Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh’s Fashion Heritage
  • Unique Draping Styles, Sarees, and Jewellery
